I placed a order with Demon Tweeks for the remainder of my clothing and its all arrived so I’m fully kitted up now (apart from the boots which are on back order)
Bucket Seat and Harnesses

Well after a few problems with the wrong seat being delivered and looking at receipt to see she’d written down the wrong seat but still charged me for the more expensive one!! After a few phonecalls, they didn’t have the seat I wanted in stock and said it would be at least a week, so I decided to upgrad to an XL and managed to get myself some 6 point harnesses at cost price!
Autosport at NEC

So I went to the Autosport show at the NEC on Saturday to buy a new things and managed to get my seat and side mounts and an OMP Race Suit, also had my medical there! I wanted to get a few more things like helmet and stuff but it was so busy I got a bit fed up to be honest lol. I booked my ARDs test as well today!!
Oh and I signed up to the championship at Autosport! So I’m now officially on board. Looking like a huge grid as usual this year and with the EVO’s moving to another championship there should be a bit more competition in the other classes, should be exciting!
280mm Calipers and Carriers

After talking to a few people I decided to try and go for a 280mm setup from a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra, I get the feeling everyone will be out braking me however its a good upgrade for now until I can buy some nice AP calipers.
Roll Cage Ordered

Placed the order for my roll cage today, went for a multipoint from Custom Cages in the end. Should be here before Christmas apparently 
Rear ARB Arrived

My rear ARB has arrived from Jabbasport however after speaking to Jabbasport there appears to have been a problem with the powder coating in the last batch they received so its being sent back.
Dash is out

Today we removed the dash and all the sound deadening from behind, its surprising how much the sound deadening weighed actually!!
We made a bit more progress today and were unfortunately a bit slack in taking pictures, today our aim was to remove the dash and sound deadening

The first parts I’ve ordered arrived today from http://www.rallydesign.co.uk , a Lifeline Zero 2000 Fire Extinguisher, Bonnet Pins and an FIA Cut off switch
Busy night

Tonight me and my brother took to the car armed with screwdrivers, a ratchet, sockets and some torq bits
So these are how the car started
First bit of weight saving done lol
Then it started to rain so got the tarpaulin over the car, opened the doors and boot and got a nice light in there (I burnt my finger on it 
)

Ok well after much searching I decided on a VW Lupo and I found one up in Northwich, Chesire.
So I hired a trailer, thanks to A Class Motorhomes in Swindon who have some impressive bits of kit down there….and with a bit of help towing it (don’t ask lol) we got it back to Bristol!! Only a 10 hour round trip….
So more about the car its a 2000 VW Lupo Sport 1.4 16v with a few additions, namely: Raceland Manifold, Decat, Powertech Induction Kit , GTI leads, Gearbox from an S , Weitec HiCon GT Coilovers.
Work on it shall start very shortly and I think the first thing on the list to get done is to strip it down and then onto the roll cage.
